Darn Tootin'

Picture
A dexterity-light card game where players use cards as fans to waft over opponents, conquer challenges, and prove they are full of hot air in the most literal possible way.

Darn Tootin’ is an entertaining dexterity-light game where your cards are not just your options, they are also your fan. Players use cards to move, challenge opponents, defend themselves, and physically waft cards across the table.

The game is designed around multiple modes, letting the same core system support quick duels, team battles, free-for-all chaos, skill challenges, and objective-based showdowns. Some modes are about knocking down opponents. Some are about holding the center. Some are about proving you have the cleanest wafting technique at the table.

It is silly, fast, interactive, and very likely to make at least one player say, “Wait, that actually worked?”

Prototype Notice

Please note that this game is still in its prototype phase and is therefore subject to change. We are currently finishing up artwork and development and expect to have the game available for sale in 2027. If you see us at a convention, there's a good chance you'll be able to check it out!

What Makes Darn Tootin' Different?

Dexterity-light gameplay
You are physically interacting with the game, but without needing flicking accuracy, stacking precision, or a surgeon’s hands. The core action is simple: use your cards to waft.

Multiple ways to play
Darn Tootin’ is being developed with several game modes, including duels, team battles, free-for-all battles, king-of-the-hill objectives, and challenge-based contests.

Cards as both tools and toys
Cards give you tactical options, but they also become the physical object you use to affect the table. That makes the hand-management decisions feel connected to the dexterity moment.

Approachable chaos
It is light enough for casual players, weird enough for hobby gamers, and (lovingly) dumb enough to become a convention-table magnet.
